Refresher/Recertification Courses
Paramedic Refresher Course - If you need to rewrite the Alberta College of Paramedic (ACP) exam or if you need to renew your ACP credential as a certified paramedic, this course is for you. Course fee $2,500 ($500 per day). Typically it is scheduled two months before ACP examination dates or according to student schedules. Examination preparation days are held throughout the year at no extra cost to students. External Certifications for Emergency Medical Services - Occasionally, courses for external certifications are offered in parallel to the full-time Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Paramedic programs. Because of their delivery format, these offerings are available to people who are not enrolled as full-time EMT and Paramedic students. The following courses are available:

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider  $435 Once per year
ACLS Provider Recertification   $265 Once per year
Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider  $435 Once per year
PALS Recertification  $275 Once per year
International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) Provider  $350  Three times per year
ITLS Recertification  $250  Three times per year

Costs for manuals aren't included in fees listed above. Please call 780 608 1240 for  information about how to access manuals and for course dates. Applicants must submit an application form and evidence of current certification.
